The Network is committed to: - Raising the profile of our members at local and regional levels.

- Helping Toy Libraries work effectively with the Local Authority and contribute to strategies, projects and initiatives.
- Support the need for cohesive working across the county
- Support & develop volunteers
- Develop opportunities for providers to access toys and equipment for children with special needs
- Ensure that all resources held within the network are used to their maximum effectiveness
- Improve communication links both locally and nationally, to promote good practise and reduce isolation
- Ensure parents, carers, childcare providers and healthcare professionals benefit from the resources and services of the network
- Promote the development of Toy Libraries in Schools and Children's Centres in Derbyshire to ensure that they have access to Toy Libraries in their local communities
