Derbyshire Toy Library Network is able to provide a wide range of consultancy services to members, strategic partners & interested parties which are chargeable on an hourly, daily or project basis:- - Providing support developing and writing funding bids and signpost to suitable funding streams
- Providing practical support on funding and sustainability
- Mentoring services to new and exiting toy libraries
- Providing practical support and guidance for groups and organisations in setting up Toy Libraries
- Arranging visits to member Toy Libraries
- Provide evaluation of services and provide settings with a health check
- Researching suitable venues to locate Toy Library
- Developing model policies and proceedures and Toy Library documentation

There are many benefits that come with becoming a member of Derbyshire Toy Library Network:- - Members can tap into a wealth for experience in from both the voluntary and statutory sector member Toy Libraries.
You do not have to reinvent the wheel! - We have tried and tested operation models for Toy Libraries and can support you in tailor making the best model for your community; and if by chance we do not have one that meets your needs we can explore over a 1000 member Toy Libraries of the National Association of Toy & Leisure Libraries!
- The network belongs to the National Association of Toy & Leisure Libraries (NATLL) and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) we are able to cascade information and membership benefits linked to both organisations to both organisations.
- You are not alone! We provide opportunities for networking of Toy Libraries at training events & meetings.
- The Network is represented on the Derbyshire Children's Trust V.C.I GRID Committee and we sit on Erewash Parent Partnership Committee, this enables us to cascade news and strategic developments which may impact on members.
- Once you have joined the network you have access to a wide range of resources voluntary sector good practice guides & marketing resources and digital cameras. Not just inter- toy library toy loans.
- We will develop your own profile on the Database Website where your catalogues can be featured and downloaded together with membership's forms and leaflets.
- The network will keep you updated with local and national information in the way of e-mail bulletins or on web message board.
- Publicity each toy library is featured on the website directory and we promote services and resources of member toy libraries at information events, newsletters and leaflets.
